Any student currently in grades 9 through 12 wishing to serve on the High School Student Council this year needs to pick up a petition from the cafeteria by the ramp.  Completed petitions are due back to the same place today.  Officer voting will take place at lunch on Monday, September 28.

FCCLA dues and signed liability forms are due by Monday, September 28th.

Juniors and seniors who would like to meet virtually with the representative from Rhodes State, we will be meeting with her by Zoom on Tuesday, September 29th at noon.  Sign up outside of Mrs. Kohler's office.

Next Wednesday, September 30 a mini Relay for Life will be held at Jackson Center schools. Students will be led out at their scheduled time by a staff member to walk the new track. Students are asked to look at the charts posted around the school to identify a color they would like to wear on Wednesday to support the type of cancer that has a personal connection for them. Tennis shoes are recommended for the walk on Wednesday as well as jackets, etc. to accommodate the weather for that day. Thanks in advance for helping us show support and raise awareness for all who have fought or are currently fighting a battle with cancer. In addition, there will be a awareness banner/poster contest for each grade. The grade voted the best banner will earn ice cream at lunch the following week.

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in the military should sign up to take the ASVAB test.  Testing will be here at JCHS the morning of October 7th.  If you want to take the test, sign up outside of Mrs. Kohler's office by October 2nd.
