December 2 Announcements
Auditions for the musical, “Annie”, for students in grades 2-5 will be Tuesday, December 3rd from 5:30-6:30pm. If you are interested in being in the show, please come audition. Mrs. Noah is passing out fliers with all the details. Make sure you see her if you don’t already have a flier. We hope to see you there!
Concession stand workers for tonight’s JH Girls’ Basketball game are Ian Platfoot, Marion Shaffer, & Ryan West. Please report by 4:45pm.
Art club members will be meeting on Tuesday. Please be at door #3 by 7:00am.
Parents, educators and students are encouraged to attend and learn about Honda Internship and scholarship opportunities on Thursday, December 5th at 5:00pm. This event is being held at Edison State Community College in Piqua with free pizza and drinks provided by Honda. For RSVP instructions and further information please pick up a flyer in Jackson Center School main office.
Attention all students who are 16 years or older would you like to help save a life by donating blood? The National Honor Society will be holding their annual blood drive on Wednesday, December 11 from 9 to 1pm in the athletic complex. If you are 16 years old, you will need to obtain a parent permission form from Mrs. Harris before you can be registered to donate. If you are 17 years or older you will just need to see Mrs. Harris to register. Please see Mrs. Harris to register by Friday, December 6.
Attention all National Honor Society Members there is a chapter meeting this Thursday, December 5, beginning at 7:15am in Mrs. Harris' room. Please be at door 2 by 7:10am.
It's the season of giving! The Jackson Center-UVCC FFA will once again be hosting their 'Harvest for the Hungry" Canned Food Drive from December 2-13. Students are asked to donate items for the Fish Pond Food Pantry. A list of suggested items will be passed out during your first period class. Items should be turned in at the following locations:
K-3rd grade: Marked Containers near the stage in the elementary
4th: Hinegardner 5th: Clinehens 6th: Metzger
7th: S. Kipker 8th: N. Meyer 9th: Pulfer
10th: Davidson 11th: Luthman 12th: Elchert
Attention sophomores, if you’d like to visit Explore Careers Day on Wednesday, December 4th, you need to sign up for the field trip outside of Mrs. Kohler’s office today!
Seniors: your yearbook quotes are due today. You can hand them in to Mrs. Metzger, Kylie Hartle or Mason Clark!
